Flood's tight acoustics and aggressive beat has been rocking the Tampa Bay area since late 1998. Dewey Buxton (lead vocals, guitar), Jimmy Dingle (lead guitar, backup vocals ) and Scott Reifsnyder (Bass) hammered out their sound acoustically until mid 1999, when Johnny Lastra (drums) came along and added his energy and groove to one of the hottest sounds coming out of the Tampa Bay area.

All members are from the Tampa Bay area and spent some time fine tuning their own skills with various bands around town, even linking their sound together in other bands at various times until they inevitably gelled together into one of the best live shows around.

These guys have the passion and energy to literally "FLOOD" an audiences senses. After all is said and done, this bands strong suit and favorite place is in front of a live audience.

Floods fantastic sound and energy has earned them appearances at Floridas Livestock shows in 2000 and 2001, not to mention opening for 3 Doors Down at the Bud Bowl.
